The Outreach Committee seeks to promote faith-based interaction between the community and the First Presbyterian Church of Brighton. We propose to be a living demonstration of the gospel in our community. Members are Tom Amos, Joann Briggs, Donna Brummage, Tim Ferrell and Laura Hughes.

Salvation Army Bell Ringers – Working with the Salvation Army, church members volunteer to take a turn ringing the bells at local grocery stores at Christmas time. Funds raised go to Salvation Army charities. |

Presbyterian Children’s Center Treats – Healthy relationships are important to us. Therefore, Helen Siert and Martha McCauley distribute treats to parents monthly as they bring their children to the church for childcare. Daycare families are always welcome to attend any church function. |

Visitor Contacts – Judy Munro regularly sends out a card or letter to newcomers who worship with us. Welcome gifts are given to new people who attend worship. |

Brighton Housing Justice/Help for Homes – Our task is to organize teams to participate in helping the elderly and disabled to make their homes “safe, warm and dry.” Citywide work days are usually held in early May. |

Our church web site is a wealth of information for both members and those who are looking to find a church. The web site is up-dated regularly with a variety of information including the events and activities available at our church. |
